- you might want to tell that to the people at checkuser who just confirmed it--64.12.116.138 15:25, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Why is this person being pursued as a sockpuppet? What offense was committed? --Tbeatty 16:40, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- The anon Texan has posted from several IP addresses resolving to two Texas ISPs; Republican POV but nothing disruptive enough to block. Stbalbach was tracking a banned user called Shran and mistakenly rolled the anon Texans contributions into his accusation, but that got sorted out eventually. Last night 3 users including Merecat were blocked for for disrupting AfD by spamming talk pages to recruit voters to their side (see User talk:Cyde and WP:ANI). Two of the users were unblocked by a different admin. Immediately after the block, 2 of the anon Texans IPs cranked back up with the talk page spamming and a third posted a complaint about Merecat's block to the admin who had unblocked the other two spammers. So Merecat basically outed himself as the anon Texan. A checkuser request was made and Mackensen confirmed that Merecat was the anon Texan and also Rex071404 (but was not the banned user BigDaddy, as was also suggested) and that Merecat was using the Texas ISPs to avoid his block and continue spamming talk pages about the AfD. [edit] You people make me sick
Thatcher162 and Ryanfleezling you both has gots to be kidding, with all the dirty underhanded tactical and despicable maneuvering I have seen on Wikipedia this is the worst yet. Merecat is as nice and good a person as you are going to find anywhere around. And you shitheads will not be happy until you bury him completely. (Oh, excuse me, foul language.)
Look at yourselves, for God's sake before it's too late and an exorcist needs to be called in. I have never felt so disgusted at a group of people before as people like you and others at Wikipedia. You do real harm to people often and think nothing of it. How do you sleep at night? Now that I've said something back at you, you or one of your goons can go crying to an admin. PA PA. She insulted me. BooHoo.
Give me a break. And please grow up and be nice. thewolfstar 23:36, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- You just apologized to me for your prior 'viscious' (sic) attack (I washed em off with turpentine, no sweat) not an hour ago, and now this piece of loveliness? Jeez that's quite a flip-flop. I'll refrain from interacting with you if this is the consistency I can expect. -- User:RyanFreisling @ 23:51, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

- You can expect real consistency from me, Mr. Freedzlohder. I was apologizing for one nasty comment, that's all. I'm glad turpentine got my insults washed off of you, Ryan, I'm not sure what chemical might wash the nastiness off your soul. Spirituality is always a thought, however, for you. Loveliness is a thing I might check out in myself, if I were you, too, Ryan Freezling. A little soul-searching never hurt anyone, those employed in the Queens Royal Court, or not. thewolfstar 14:43, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't want to be involved in this conflict. Please don't comment on my talk page again. — nathanrdotcom (T • C • W) 01:10, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- What you fail to understand, Maggie, is that I am much more closely aligned politically with Merecat than with the "other side" in the Rationales debate (read my comments in the AfD if you like), also I did not decide Merecat was using this and other IP addresses to post while he was blocked, the checkuser process determined that. I would be happy to work with Merecat as a valuable contributor but everyone has to follow the rules. One rule is, no using multiple accounts to give the false impression of having more support for "your side." If he sticks to one account and behaves reasonably well he can edit all he wants. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
