I like your idea of creating a page on Five-by-Fives, and I'd like to encourage your participation in creating the page . . . as the process is probably easier than you think, and it'll be rewarding for you to bring a new page into Wikipedia. Here's how to proceed:
1. Create a Wikipedia user account.
2. Enter the name of the new page in your browser:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_by_Fives
or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_Five_by_Fives
for example. Perhaps you can come up with a better name than these . . . if you would rather create a list format, then you can come up with a name such as
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Top_NBA_Five_by_Fives
See the following page for an example of a reasonable list format if you go with the list format
3. Click on the "Edit this page" tab and add whatever content you feel is appropriate. Don't forget to add relevant categories such as
[[Category:Basketball terminology]] [[Category:Basketball statistics]] [[Category:National Basketball Association]] [[Category:National Basketball Association lists]] (as appropriate) to the bottom of your article to help publicize your new creation. You can try out "Show preview" to see how your edits will look once you've saved them.
4. Click on the "Save page" button and you're done!
5. If you'd like a private practice area, you can always test the waters at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sandbox
Good luck!
