[edit] RE: Requested articles
Although you may not need to be logged in to edit the page, it is Wikipedia policy to ask for only registered users to take part in these votes. I have removed your vote, and hope that you will contribute more in the future. Thanks. --Xyrael T 19:20, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- I've checked out this policy in a little more detail, and I think we're both right! Although you're not permitted to make a direct support/oppose vote, anonymous users are perfectly entitled to make comments at the lower section of the page. You may also like to consider registering an account to vote properly in the future, see Wikipedia:Why_create_an_account?#Summary_of_benefits. Thanks for helping to improve Wikipedia. --Xyrael T 19:43, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Please don't accuse other editors of vandalism [1] when it is clearly not the case. Please discuss differences before such changes.--Dakota ~ 19:52, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
You make some good points on our community over on my talkpage, but I must ask you to bring this discussion back to our original issue, because (and I say this with the greatest respect) this could easily spiral off into something that will just cause upset and problems. On the issue of policy, it is clear that although you are free to comment, you are not explicitely permitted to vote. I don't plan to go and move your vote, because you have the right to do this yourself. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia constructively, as it appears you have been doing so for some time. --Xyrael T 20:11, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
