[edit] Re: your edits to Joyce Carol Oates, Gore Vidal and Those Who Trespass
- Followup: I noted your comment on Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. I apologize if I misinterpreted your edits to Joyce Carol Oates. Based on the earlier edits made from this IP address to Gore Vidal and Those Who Trespass, and based on the fact that the titles you added to the Oates article didn't appear in a search of her published works, I assumed that the edit was more vandalism. I think the edit would be valid if you added those titles with something like "(publication forthcoming)" appended. A note in the article's discussion page that documents the source of your information about these upcoming publications might also be a good idea. For now I'm removing the warning, which is excessive for the two relatively innocent (though inappropriate) edits to Gore Vidal and Those Who Trespass. RedSpruce 15:14, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

- This appears to be a shared IP address. I strongly suggest you get a user name to prevent this from happening again. It literally takes all of about a minute (and I did it from a government computer system whose restrictions are known to be seriously restrictive; you should have no problems). — BQZip01 — talk 19:45, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
