Dear user, thank you for your submission to Wikipedia:Articles for creation, but at least a significant portion of your submission was in violation of Wikipedia copyright policy as you seem to have copied and pasted it from several sites, including this and this. Please thoroughly review the copyright policy, the reliable sources policy, and the guideline for citing sources prior to adding material to the article. Also you may wish to review the no original research guideline, the Layout guide, Manual of style, First article, Article development and How to edit for assistance prior to editing the article. I'm looking into the duplicate entry issue, I will re-open your AfC and remove the copyright material that is obvious, and allow another editor to evaluate it. Thanks! - Okay I have re-opened the submission, noting the issues with copyright violations, and added the sites that were copied from. I also would like to let you know that the sources you provided are not considered reliable, and if it is rejected, that would be a big reason why. Reliable sources are third party (unrelated to the subject, i.e. not fan sites, not record sites, but news references, such as Associated Press, New York Times, other major news sites, etc.). While I appreciate your desire to see the article, there are very specific guidelines for musical biographies, which you also may wish to review. My apologies for my initial misunderstanding and not realizing they are not the same person. (What a wild coincidence! Doesn't seem to be a common name, ) Ariel♥Gold 15:44, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
