[edit] TeX
Dear 70.225.189.141, in the article about TeX, you added the word "economics" in the following sentence:
- It is free and is popular in academia, especially in the mathematics, physics, computer science, economics, political science, and engineering communities.
Do you have any reference about this (for example, the name of an editor of economic books who uses TeX) ? Yes, Almost all prominent economists like Jean Tirole, Fudenberg, Romer, Aghion, Howitt, Barro, ...
- Can you point to some specific books; particularly nice would be some for which some pages are available on Amazon or Google books, so that we can check if TeX is used (or rather, if the Computer Modern font is used; if not, it is hard to see if TeX is used, except maybe in the acknowledgments). Anything where we have an actual source would be good. Thanks, Schutz 15:27, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
