Nowhere else on Wikipedia would that have been acceptable; Armenian/Azeri articles are not special. That was my only complaint with your actions at that time, which you somehow managed to misconstrue into me being against you, whatever side you're on I don't know. --Golbez (talk) 13:48, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Huh?

What are you talking about? I moved the article to change to the proper spelling of Nakhchivan. I have no opinion on the "destruction" part, unless you're saying that changing to the proper spelling of Nakhchivan is somehow POV. I suggest you chat with Azeri editors about how pro-Azeri I am. Finally, I think you're overestimating how much I care about what you think of me. --Golbez (talk) 04:46, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

News sources can be incorrect; based on my research of Azeri transliteration and official sources (such as what appears to be the region's government's official website!), Nakhchivan is the more correct spelling. That news sources get it incorrect is no excuse, and it has no particular classical spelling in English, so we have to go with a direct transliteration. Cleaning up copyvios, not something I do much, and you did a poor job of it, which I cleaned up after. I "failed to deal with Adil's socks" because I don't get involved with blocking Azeris or Armenians; trying to remain impartial causes that. There are more than enough people watching the Azeri/Armenian fights like hawks to be much better in figuring out who is a sock of whom. That you think I benefit Azeris over Armenians is simply laughable; I personally would say I lean more in favor of Armenians, having publicly stated my sympathy for Karabakhi independence. I would wager every Azeri editor who knows me here would agree. However, since I'm American and have no cultural or personal understanding of this revanchism and irredentism, I am able to treat the issue with much more neutrality than the other people involved in the articles. --Golbez (talk) 05:14, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
