Hi. Please be aware that articles on British topics use British English, so the spelling in the Diana article is correct. Thanks. Christopher Parham (talk) 03:44, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

The same goes for Corinne Bailey Rae. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 12:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Please do not knowingly use improper spelling, as you did in Diana, Princess of Wales. "Honourable" and "honours", etc., are wholly and utterly inappropriate for such a topic. The daughter of a Viscount (as she was at the time) is always "The Honourable", as that style is bestowed by the United Kingdom, which uses British english. Even if she wasn't the daughter of a peer, as a British resident, her article would never use American spelling of such words. From the Manual of Style:

Articles that focus on a topic specific to a particular English-speaking country should generally conform to the usage and spelling of that country.

Thanks for your cooperation. --Ibagli (Talk) 00:46, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Please stop changing British English spellings to American English spellings. If you continue, this may be considered vandalism and you may be blocked from editing. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:57, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

This is your final warning. You have already been asked to stop changing articles from one version of English to the other. Wikipedia accepts both American English and British English. Articles on either country should be written in that country's version of English, while dates should follow that country's form also. Repeated changing of English when you have been asked to cease doing it may be seen as vandalism. If you continue you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You will not receive another warning before being blocked. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 14:30, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked for 48 hours

Per this. Something I do not take lightly is an attempt to intimidate another editor who warned you against doing something you've been repeatedly warned about. Please read WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA. You have been blocked for 48 hours and I suggest you take some time to simmer down here. In the future, I'd also recommend that when responding to warnings given to you by an admin, you refrain from Wikipedia:WikiLawyering.--Isotope23 20:18, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
