Explain to me how this is vandalism. Prove that any part of that isn't true.
- "Dave Winer (b. May 2, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA) is a software developer and entrepreneur. He created some and contributed significantly to the rest of these popular XML dialects and APIs related to web publishing: Ramanathan V. Guha's RSS 2.0 (Really Simple Syndication)[1], Microsoft's XML-RPC, Userland Software's OPML[2], and the MetaWeblog API. He is also the author of Scripting News, an early weblog, established in 1997[3]. He is an evangelist of RSS as "Really Simple Syndication,". He's also the founder of the software companies Living Videotext and Userland Software, and a former contributing editor at Wired Magazine and research fellow at Harvard Law School."

[edit] Stop
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Ganfon 21:21, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Dave Winer, you will be blocked from editing. Kafziel Talk 03:41, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive. If you vandalise Wikipedia once again, as you did to Dave Winer, you will be blocked from editing. Meteoroid ← 01:17, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] = Known sockpuppet of blocked User:Nirelan
Nirelan has been indefinitely blocked for edit warring and violating consensus at Dave Winer. He was using this sock IP before the ban to evade multiple warnings on his own user talk. Now (Feb. 23) he has restarted attacking Dave Winer with the same exact POV edits that were multiply reverted by many editors when he made them from other identities. He signs these edits "Nirelan". Please block this IP with the same expiration as the existing block on Nirelan, and also block him/it from creating more sockpuppet accounts. betsythedevine 01:37, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
