Tell me what do WITHIN TEMPTATION, EPICA, AFTER FOREVER, and THEATRA OF TRAGEDY have to do with Power Metal? Either give a good exmpale of how they are playing Power Metal or stop adding them in. The ARTICLE is about Power Metal. I will say it again it's about POWER METAL. TOT DON'T PLAY POWER METAL. NOR DO THEY PLAY SYMPHONIC METAL. They....Play...Gothic metal. Within Temptation does not play POWER METAL. Nor DOSE Epica nor does After Forever.
Either give exmpale as to way they are there or get ready of them. In fact half the bands you have listed don't play any kind of Power Metal at all. Turemetalfan Oct 8th, 2007

- Ok, here's the deal. I am not trying to call these bands power metal in any way. I just decided to list symphonic metal as a related genre because symphonic metal takes influence from power metal. I guess you're right... these bands share a lot more with goth metal than power metal. But like I said, symhponic metal is a RELATED GENRE, not a subgenre of power metal. I won't continue to add it because you will probably just take it away again but I hope you see what I was thinking with this. (By the way, maybe next time you give me a message try to spell THEATRA of tragedy right) *Smirk*
Do you now why it does not work? Symhponic metal has bands that play Death metal, Black Metal, Prog Metal, etc in it. If you add Symphonic metal you are in a sane calling Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, and the Diablo Swing Orchestra Power metal bands. That's why the Symphoinc Power Metal part was made and why it take you right to the Symphoinc Power Metal part. Because those bands listed play Power Metal. Symphonic metal takes things from Black Metal, Power Metal, Prog Metal, Death Metal, and Gothic Metal. Learn the grene better before you make edits. --Turemetalfan 21:09, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

- OK, I get it. I decided to get rid of the related genres section altogether so we can put this crap to an end. And honestly, try to get all the spelling right when you're sending people messages. *Smirk*

[edit] You still don't get it
Nightwish is not Gothic Metal. They never have been and never will be. Nor has HIM ever been Gothic Metal nor has Epica ever been Gothic Metal. --Turemetalfan (talk) 00:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't say they were goth metal, I said they play a variation of it. Maybe that's why I added them in that section instead of the actual list of bands.
- By the way, I'm not even a member so how are you able to track me down?
