Specifically, its use in the article New Zealand Geographic on the English-language Wikipedia, where New Zealand Geographic magazine is a major subject, to identify New Zealand Geographic magazine, is legitimate fair use. It does not deprive the copyright holder of any revenue, and the public use of logos to identify their owners is a standard example of fair use.
