6th Parliament of Upper Canada

The 6th Parliament of Upper Canada was in session from July 27, 1812 to April 18, 1816. Elections in Upper Canada had been held in June 1812. All sessions were held at York, later Toronto. The parliament building were burned down by the Americans in 1813; until they were rebuilt in 1820, sessions were held at the York Hotel in 1814 and then the residence of Chief Justice William Henry Draper.

John Macdonell was killed at Queenston Heights in October 1812 and replaced by Alexander Macdonell. John Fanning died in January 1813 and was replaced by Isaac Swayze.
