unblock request

{{unblock|too long for some short-term vandalism and is blocking legitimate users on the same IP address. Please unblock; thanks!}} 69.74.63.194 18:15, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

The vandaism is quite persistant and has caused multiple previous blocks, since they didn't help prevent the problem a longer block is perfectly in order. Why should the many 1000's of leigitimate wikipedia users put up with such activity? Which legitiamate users are being impacted? I can't see any legitimate edits in the history of the IP address, if they are users with accounts why aren't they posting an unblock request on their userpage from their own account? --pgk(talk) 13:26, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
It's my school's IP, so they (like me) probably go home and just edit like normal from there. There are also indeed good edits in the history (some from me, but many from others like [1] [2] on first glance). --AySz88^-^ 17:15, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Also, the class periods at the school are usually only 40 minutes in length, so I don't see much use for block lengths of more than a few hours. --AySz88^-^ 17:20, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
