[edit] Your recent edit to Galileo affair article

Thank you for your recent attention to the Wikipedia article on the Galileo affair. Unfortunately your edit has turned what appears to me to have been an accurate statement, conforming to all Wikipedia policies and guidelines, into one which now asserts a disputed point of view as fact—namely, that the mobility of the Earth and the immobility of the Sun are contradicted by some statements in the Bible. As such, it seems to me that the statement now contravenes Wikipedia policy on neutral point of view.

If you believe that the original version of the statement was inaccurate, or contravened any Wikipedia policy or guideline (such as WP:NPOV) please raise your concerns on the article's talk page where an accurate compromise wording can be hammered out. Otherwise I shall revert the new version of the statement back to its original. —David Wilson (talk · cont) 11:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
