From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 70.140.219.56). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. -- 70.140.219.56 04:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. -- 70.140.219.56 04:26, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I am trying to figure out your motive for this repeated changing of Edd's nickname to "Double Dee." It is incorrect. Edd's nickname "Double-D" refers to the fact that his name ends in 2 "D's." "Dee" is a proper name, and is by no means proper in this context. It will be continually reverted. -- 70.140.219.56 04:29, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Your change was determined to be unhelpful and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- 70.140.219.56 04:37, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.
We hope that you will become a legitimate editor. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.
If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future sanctions such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own. Squirepants101 04:44, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to List of characters in Ed, Edd n Eddy, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Squirepants101 04:48, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

- You posted on my talk page that "It is Double Dee." Now, you are being required to provide a citation to support this spelling. You have already received a last warning for vandalism. If you fail to supply a credible source for this spelling, it will be reverted, and any subsequent edits you make to restore this spelling will be viewed as intentional vandalism, and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- 70.140.219.56 05:06, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. ViridaeTalk 05:01, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I apoligize
I'm truly sorry that you had to get blocked for 48 hours, but you really should have provided sources that Double-D was also called Double-Dee in the first place. Otherwise, users may think you're trying to be sneaky or that you're trying to introduce original research to the page. Squirepants101 16:49, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- You can provide sources by posting them on the talk page or in the edit summary. Squirepants101 16:51, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
