[edit] Your edit to Partnership minyan

I understand from an edit summary that you are representing yourself to be Elitzur Bar-Asher, and are seeking to edit the Partnership minyan article's mention of Elitzur Bar-Asher's views. Given these circumstances, I would encourage you to register an account under a userid for editing Wikipedia articles, particularly ones mentioning Elitzur Bar-Asher. I would also encourage to read carefully Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, which limits the ability of editors to edit content that mentions them or organizations they control or have a major stake in. Finally, I would encourage you to discuss proposed edits on the article's talk page prior to making them in order to get a neutral view. With these understandings, it is definitely possible for individuals who believe a Wikipedia article misrepresents their views to seek to have it changed as long as this is done openly and other editors have a chance to review to ensure balance.

In this case, I don't believe removing the one sentence you'd like removed affects the overall article and therefore I don't believe removing it would be objectionable in this case. (See our Assume Good Faith policy), and on review I believe there may be some merit to your view that including the one sentence but not others did not result in a neutral summary of the source involved. However, if you want to edit articles involving yourself in the future, please register a username, discuss proposed edits on the article's discussion page (in this case Talk:Partnership minyan), and be very open about what you're doing..
