I agree. However, my intention was not to split Parents and Former Characters.. it was more of a split between Current Characters and Former Characters, it just so happened that all the former characters listed were parents. I see your point about Cassie's parents, and I guess it would be better to reinclude them.

I also like your idea about a separate page. The The O.C. character page is particularly impressive. Maybe adopt a similar approach for this article?
