[edit] Welcome
About my IP: Hello, and welcome to my current IP address. If you are looking for my old one, here it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:69.234.195.3&action=edit. This occurs because IP addresses are not always static. I will probably end up with a new one, and then this IP talk page will become obsolete. I'd say more, but Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Promotional articles about yourself, your friends, your company or products, or articles created as part of a marketing or promotional campaign, will be deleted in accordance with our deletion policies. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Spam. It would really stink to get banned for editing my own IP talk page, especially since there was nothing on it to vandalize. Please sign your comments, or you will meet User:SineBot, and he will sign it for you. Please enjoy your stay here at Wikipedia.org, and enjoy your day. --69.234.207.238 (talk) 16:02, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] What did I do?
Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. The most common types of vandalism include the addition of obscenities or crude humor, page blanking, or the insertion of nonsense into articles. I don't think I've done any of these, so I don't know why I'm getting banned. --69.234.207.238 (talk) 21:44, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- You have not been blocked. The block notice was a false block notice left by an editor who does not have the ability to block you. My apologies for your confusion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:53, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

- That kind of stuff happened to me before-either I should get an account or leave wikipedia if this happens again. Thank you for clearing that up.--69.234.207.238 (talk) 21:55, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

- The editor who left you the false block notice has himself been blocked from Wikipedia. You should consider creating an account for yourself. There are many benefits to having one. I hope that this incident does not dissuade you from continuing to contribute. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:04, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
