[edit] More on dead white males

Hi. I completely understand your discomfort at the juxtaposition of Harold Bloom and 10 Things I Hate About You, but I think that it's good for the article to have examples of the term being used in different contexts. I haven't read The Anxiety of Influence, and don't know the context in which Bloom uses the term "dead white males"; it might be useful to flesh the reference out, which would enable us to separate the scholar from the film. By the way, it's useful when you edit to use an edit summary to tell other editors the reason for your edit. If you had explained your concern when you first removed the passage, I wouldn't have thought it was vandalism (a mistake for which I apologize). If you want, you can also discuss edits at the article's talk page, which enables other editors to give their perspectives. Thanks, and see you around the 'pedia! —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 00:50, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
