[edit] December 2007

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Syracuse University, you will be blocked from editing. Although SU is non-sectarian, Syracuse University still has ties to the United Methodist Church, so please stop blanking the affiliation sections of the infobox as well as other sections of the article. I see that you have received another warning from another user for another article. Please stop these attempts to remove content from Wikipedia articles.

If you are still interested in improving the SU article, please register for a new account and we can work on that article together. Thanks. - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 02:54, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Actually, you were removing lines and lines of content from the article. And every administrator has the right to block you from editing Wikipedia. The blocking section was part of a standard message automatically generated from undoing vandalism towards an article. Please do not take offense, instead, try to understand this article's content and improve it. Three articles accessed on June 30, 2007 pointed that SU is still in relations with the Methodist Church and your comments are uncalled for. Please clear your head before approaching me again. - Jameson L. Tai talkcontribs 03:56, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Actually, although Wikipedia does accept .edu sources, it is better to use verified sources that are not the article subject's own website. However, noting what you're saying, Syracuse is still considered Methodist (if you know what I'm saying). Just because it's no longer sectarian doesn't mean it doesn't have affiliations. I'm not sure if I'm getting through to you or not... Anyways, please establish a Wikipedia account, as anonymous IP accounts are known to frequently cause endless amounts of spam, and remember to sign your comments by typing four tildes (~~~~). This way people know where the comments came from and where to reply to. The four tildes will act as a signature, which will indicate your username/IP address, a link to your talk page, as well as the time and date you posted the comment automatically. - Jameson L.
