Adding unrelated external links to articles is considered vandalism. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. thewinchester 05:42, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Mystery shopping. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. thewinchester 05:42, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism of Mystery shopping Article

At 07:10 on December 16, 2006 and 00:46 on December 18, 2006, you have made edits to the Mystery shopping article, where you on both occasions added in a section titled Regional Organisations, and added a link to The National Association of Mystery Shoppers. The addition of this link is a violation of the Wikipedia Policy on Vandalism (WP:VAN) and Wikipedia Policy on Spam (WP:SPAM). Your organisation has only just been established, has no verifiable history, nor does it meet the requirements for Notability on Wikipedia (WP:CORP).

My reasoning for the WP:CORP violation is:

  • The club, society, or organization has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the club, society, or organization itself.

My reasoning for the WP:VAN violation is:

  • Adding inappropriate external links for advertisement and/or self-promotion. Note that this applies only to placing links on numerous and/or unrelated pages. Adding self-promotional links to a few related articles may be inappropriate, but is not vandalism.

Any further edits of this page without discussion in article's talk page or any supporting evidence as mandated by WP:CORP for notability may result in further action being taken in line with relevant WP policies that could ultimately result in the block or banning of your account. thewinchester 05:16, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Continued vandalism of Mystery shopping Article

As noted at 05:16, 19 December 2006 (UTC) by myself, the addition of these links does not meet the criteria set down in WP:CORP for notability and thus continued efforts to add these links violates WP:VAN and WP:SPAM. Your continued vandalism is being monitored and further attempts will result in actions being taken in line with Wikipedia policy. thewinchester 05:30, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
