Why have you frequently added external links to "Moby games" reviews? -- Psi edit
It seems that it is IMDb and MobyGames links. Both are considered "OK" by the pedia community provided the links provide useful information. However willy nilly adding links isn't consider in a favorable light. You may want to explain yourself and some of your motivations. --Flipkin 21:30, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm not advertising.
[edit] Splatterhouse/Jason Voorhees
Nice catch, even though technically a younger version of Jason was in the first film, but not the hulking killing machine that would appear in the second film and continue to appear throughout the rest of the series.

Please do not remove external links from an article without explaining yourself in the edit summary. It can be construed as vandalism. Thanks, Werdna648T/C\@ 03:03, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] On external links
Please note that inserting external links into articles is generally not considered to be very helpful. Many articles "grow" long lists of links, and at a later point it is exceedingly hard to separate the chaff from the corn. Please try to add useful information to the article body, rather than advertising websites. Anyone who uses Wikipedia can also use Google, and only very important websites deserve mention in the "external links" section. This should generally be reserved for sites that are mentioned by name in the article body, or that relate to a concept mentioned in passing that touches closely on the subject under discussion. If you want to insert an external link, it should be relevant and you should explain what the link is. Using preferred anchor text is just a sure fire way to be removed. -- FeldBum 12:09, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
FYI if you are going to add MobyGames external links you should probably use the template.
{{moby game|id=/magic-carpet|name=''Magic Carpet''}}
This will give you the following line:
Magic Carpet at MobyGames
You can find out a little more about it on the Talk:MobyGames page. But you should see my comment above in regards to appropiate linking. You may also wish to go to the trouble of creating an account instead of contributing via an anon IP which may go a long way in peoples impressions of you.--Flipkin 16:27, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
