Basically, Dodongos are in no way dinosaurs. For one, dinosaurs don't crawl along the ground, and none of the carnivores were four-legged. The closest thing to that that's likely to be what the producers were thinking of was the Archosaurs or Archosaurimorphs, the last things that were both crocodilian and dinosaurian. Nothing else really even resembles Dodongos at all.
The Snake and Baby forms screw things up even more, as well as the TP version - it's possible their just meant to be prehistoric lizards, and that was erroneously translated as "dinosaur". However, lizards look even less like Dodongo, though they do have the same gait. I suppose it would be wise to try to put it up to discussion, or get a dinosaur expert from their area/project.KrytenKoro 14:49, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
