Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in May 19. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- Jim Douglas 19:12, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please add content, not external links

Please stop. If you continue spamming, as you did in Wedding music, you will be blocked from editing. --Siobhan Hansa 23:16, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Do not violate copyright

Every edit screen that you have seen here has said "Do not copy text from other websites without permission. It will be deleted.". We are serious about this. If you wish to refer to a source, cite it, do not copy and paste it wholesale. Uncle G 15:35, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. Gwernol 21:29, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kevin H. Kinyon & Gigmasters.com, Inc.

Kevin, I'm not sure what you mean about questioning your personal listing. I haven't edited the Kevin H. Kinyon article yet. I was going to wait to see what the community thought of Gigmasters.com, Inc. before taking a stance there. From the way you have been editing (and I assume given your post to my talk page that you are the same person using this IP address and the accounts User:Gigmasters and User:Kkinyon) it seems like you think wikipedia is an appropriate place to post anything that is true. But that is not the case. We are an encyclopedia, to be worthy of an entry in wikipedia a subject needs to provide verifiable evidence for claims from reliable sources, as well as being of significant importance (notability). I listed Gigmasters.com at Articles for Deletion because I do not believe it to meet the necessary criteria for inclusion. I expect if the community agrees with me, I will think the Kevin H. Kinyon article is also unsuitable, since the current claim of notability is that he is CEO of Gigmasters, which will not be considered particularly noteworthy if the Gigmasters article doesn't survive. If it's any consolation I don't consider myself notable enough for a Wikipedia article - though I have done many things, including running a company. --Siobhan Hansa 21:59, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

If you think those are suitable reasons for keeping the article and you can find references which meet Wikipedia's reliable sources requirements, then you should add those to the article and make your case on the AfD page. You may be able to convince other editors. However, please take time to rread the guidelines. If you make edits like this to the article you will possibly do your case more harm than good, since they show a lack of understanding of Wikipedia's standards. --Siobhan Hansa 22:16, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
