Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. [edit] Image:Seaman Silver.jpg
Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your work on the Image:Seaman Silver.jpg page. It is probably frustrating to have stuff continually deleted. There are two reasons why the material is removed. The first is copyright - the article from the newspaper is under copyright, and thus can not be included in Wikipedia (see WP:COPYRIGHT for more information). The image itself, likewise has to be suitably tagged (I think this is taken care of). The second issue is a more difficult define. In general, articles (or other material) has to be about someone famous or otherwise well known. Generally this means they have to be in the news routinely or otherwise be covered in published sources. There are several reasons for this: verifiability of the material being high on the list. See WP:BIO for more information.
If the article is about you, you can put some information about yourself on your userpage (I think User:Harvardlaw is you, correct?). Let me know if you have any questions, and again, welcome to wikipedia! --TeaDrinker 18:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2006 June 22, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. --Chris (talk) 11:36, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Preview button
There is a nifty little button in the edit window labeled "Show preview." You can use this to check your edits before you save. You have made about a thousand saves on every article you have edited, usually with tiny, incremental changes on each edit. Try "preview" next time until you get the article to where you want it, then hit save. --Nobunaga24 22:54, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gary Bohay
Why are you writing a history of wrestling in the article of Gary Bohay? We have plenty of articles about wrestling, let's keep that article focused on its subect. -Will Beback 02:21, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jessica Simpson
Your additions to Jessica Simpson appear to be fraudulent. They are certainly inappropriate and self-serving. Stop adding aggrandizing references to Silver. -Will Beback 00:09, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
