[edit] Response
from redkubu: The site You listed at http://www.alivecommunity.net/church/clc/abtCLC.html does not own the content. It is owned by http://www.clc.edu, from whom I have received persmission. I was asked to post this information by the UPCI [1], the founding organization for all of these institutions, about all of their colleges on wikipedia.
- let be noted that content "with permission" is not good ennough, as content posted actually becomes licensed under free GFDL, which means anybody else (even commercial hosts) can take the content and use it WITHOUT FURTHER REQUESTING PERMISISION FROM UPCI (since it's released under a free license). Are you aware of such fact?? Are you sure UPCI is aware of the fact? -- (☺drini♫|☎) 05:59, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
No, we where not aware of that, but they wanted to have good answers to the negative light that our organization is shown in here in your article on pentecostalism. The are no links to these schools' sites from here, to allow them to provide information. maybe we could compromise by changing the the article links to web links in the UPCI article???
- You are fine adding links under the section of external links, it's the articles with the copyrighted content that we cannto have on wikipedia. If no "external links" section exists on Pentecostalism then create one by typing:
== Externa links == * [http://urlof/the/church Name of the church]
I hope that helps -- (☺drini♫|☎) 06:05, 5 October 2005 (UTC) We'll try it that way, but its not what we really wanted. maybe sometime i'll have time to write articles for each one...but that probably ever won't happen.
- That'd be the best way, as it would be your original text and not copyrighted. However you need to be careful to keep a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV) If you consider such entries are not following a neutral point of view (which means, not hiding bad aspects, but also not hiding good ones) you may want to click on "discussion" or "talk" link at top of such page and start a question there -- (☺drini♫|☎) 06:15, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
The article didn't seem to have been written from a NPOV. Last time I read it (it could have been changed) it referred to our organization as a minority in pentecostalism, below notice. That simply isn't factual. I am being neutral. Thank you for your help. I edited United Pentecostal Church as well, is it ok??
