[[I like Esther Hautzig's book: The Endless Steppe. It was a read a loud in my seventh grade Social Studies class in Kimberly. The story was so touching that Lalinka had to live in exile for 5 years in Siberia. We now should be happy what life is now for us than how it was back then for the innocent people who were affected during WWII. I could not imagine being Lalinka in that time.
