[edit] not a violation

Thanks a lot for your concern about potential copyright violations with the Michael Collins article I posted last week. Yes, I wrote it. The person(s) wondering whether it was copyright infringement can rest assured it is not. I'm Gayle Lynds, his wife, a fellow author. I wrote a longer essay about him, which is posted on his website. The one I submitted to Wikipedia is an excerpted version, accurate, with sources correctly cited.

That's fine, it's just whenever there is a new article created with an entire multiparagraph excerpt written with almost no mistakes, it raises some red flags. Nineteen times out of twenty its a cut/paste job from a website or CD encyclopedia. It's just better to be safe then sorry. — oo64eva (AJ) (U | T | C) @ 07:37, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)
