Attention:

This IP address, 68.39.34.44, is registered to Comcast Cable Communications for accounts in Linden, New Jersey, US, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

The message you left on my talk page strikes me as unnecessarily confrontational and incivil. Its not even clear if the message was directed at me or the IP user who left the message immediately above your. Please try to be a little more careful and considerably less incivil in your future messages. Thanks, Gwernol 19:08, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Ford Freestar, you will be blocked from editing.

[edit] Re: Monterey

The article on the Monterey van was previously merged with the Freestar article. There has already been a discussion on this. There is not going to be a separate page for the Monterey van. --Sable232 03:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I had put in the first edit summary that there was a prior agreement. Had you asked at that point instead of removing content again, this wouldn't have happened.
Secondly, the warning message was not a "threat." It was a canned warning template. What YOU posted can also be considered a threat as well. --Sable232 12:58, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

If you think you can request that an admin block (or "delete") me, you are sorely mistaken. Continued incivility and threats will not get you anywhere. --Sable232 17:24, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

As User:Gwernol has already pointed out and re. your messages on Sable232's talk page, you need to tone down the threats just a little. Please try to assume good faith on the half of other editors and understand that we're all here to work together for the benefit of the project. Thanks - Alison 19:39, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Response to your Message

Hi. I just got a message from you saying "Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive content to Wikipedia, as you did to NYPD Auxiliary Police. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me."

I went to the link you provided to show me what you changed but dont understand exactly what was changed. My question is what did I exactly delete that made you send me this message? All I deleted was a template that was in the wrong place. The template was put onto the picture I added to the page however it was also added to the page where it shouldnt have been.

Hey Guy/Gal. I reviewed the page in question and can see that you did not mean to cause any harm. When you removed your template, you also picked-up one of the other language templates by mistake. This caused the “bot” I am using to notice the removal. I have removed the tag from your discussion page and replaced it with this response. If you have any other questions, just drop me a line. Once again, thanks for your contributions • ShoesssS Talk
No problem, and once again “Welcome” to Wikipedia. • ShoesssS Talk
