- Hm. The above message assumes you're on some sort of broadband connection; the contributions from this particular IP look a bit more like it may be a proxy for dial-up modem users, though -- if the latter case is correct, then it's probable this address is shared among a number of customers. – Luna Santin (talk) 21:26, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Much of those edits were not mine, and you were informed of that, yet you will continue to punish me for someone else's stupid and idiotic actions?

- I might be able to help, why don't you create your own account? It's very easy. TheBlazikenMaster 21:31, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- Pretty much what Blaziken said. There's no technically viable solution to this sort of problem, at this time. We need to keep out abusive users, and the web doesn't provide us with any identifiable information; the closest thing we get is an IP address. We can send abuse reports to ISPs and companies and businesses and homes, but such things are rarely acted upon, except in the most extreme cases. The vast majority of blocks will allow users with accounts to continue editing; if you get an account, you should be able to edit over most blocks. If you need help registering, you can contact unblock-en-l. – Luna Santin (talk) 21:34, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
