[edit] Charles Csuri article

I would think the inclusion of Csuri's grandchildren, if not children, would be including non-notable trivia in general, unless those persons are of notability in their own right. Perhaps though there could be exceptions if Csuri's relatives played some important role in relation to his notablity as a pioneer of computer animation and digital art. 68.38.228.202, I know from your other contributions that Charles Csuri is your grandfather, but this possibly creates a conflict of interest in you're editing this article on him, but feel free to make suggestions for the article via the article's talk page. - cgilbert 07:17, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Dear Cgilbert76|,

I'm sorry but I do have to disagree with you on this. If you look at any number of notable figures mentioned in Wikipedia their relationships (affairs, marriages, children, grandchildren)are always mentioned.Wikipedia is a online biography of the persons life and knowing their relationships helps define who that person is,as well as gives insight into how they got there, If you are going to live in the public eye,the public wants to know these things. I am not as you say "obviously" one of his grandchildren. However knowing his past as I do, I would say you are most likely his Daughter Caroline or her Husband...as the Facts behind why his first wife left him and married his second wife are somewhat scandalous, even in todays society.

According to this diff, Charles Csuri is your grandfather. You might want to review Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before editing his article further. —PurpleRAIN 17:22, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Purple Rain (Seriously??),

I was refering to a differnt page not the Csuri one, which is why I erased that to avoid confusion.

I'm sorry, I thought that since the Csuri page is the only main page you've been editing, you were refering to that page when you mentioned your grandfather. - cgilbert 18:18, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
My mistake. Just out of curiosity, which article is the one about your grandfather? Since editing that one would be a conflict of interest, perhaps I can help you with the deletions that you said were happening there? —PurpleRAIN 19:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Incidentally, out of the four articles you provided to cgilbert76 as examples, only one mentions grandchildren, and that seems to be the least worked-over of the four. While marriages, affairs, and perhaps children are generally notable events in a person's life, most biographical articles do not contain any mention of grandchildren unless they are unusually significant in some way. —PurpleRAIN 19:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warnings

[edit] January 2007

WHO IS THIS??? Why are you posting my name on this site?

Please do not remove other people's comments unless the issue has been resolved or their comment is no longer relevant to the current state of the article. With the exception of these scenarios, the removal of other people's comments is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - cgilbert 23:49, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

You have removed several user warnings from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here. Thank you. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 15:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:68.38.228.202, you will be blocked for vandalism. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 15:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
