Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Scandal. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
- Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia, as you did in Tour de France. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks.
-
- Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did in Corporate crime, you will be blocked from editing.

- This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did in Chartres, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.

[edit] Links
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Aude (talk) 17:32, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

You should also be aware of Wikipedia's WP:3RR:
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. --Aude (talk) 18:40, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Oh and please, no personal attacks. WP:NPA--Peephole 01:27, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 17:00, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] December 2006
Your recent additions of external links to Cisco Systems and Microsoft were extremely inappropriate. They violated our policies on WP:POV, [{WP:SPAM]] and WP:EL. Do not add links to such biased material to articles, it will not be tolerated. Your links have been removed and if you attempt to add them to those or any other article again you will be blocked from editing. Gwernol 02:29, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
