[edit] Protest
[Added the heading above and the unsigned template. --NYScholar 18:13, 22 June 2007 (UTC)]
According to Wikipedia guidelines, I am writing to protest your repated removal of this external link in the article on you Murray Waas:
- Murray Waas Against the World (article in Washington City Paper by Erik Wemple and Jason Cherkis, May 16, 2007)
You may not like the contents of that article, but this link is factual and neutrally worded, and there is no valid reason for excluding it. This is supposed to be an encyclopedia entry, not an authorized bio.
I intend to follow through Wikipedia channels to ensure that this link is reinstated permanently.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ovid Plastering (talk • contribs) 16:53, May 29, 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Can't sleep, clown will eat me 07:00, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Summary
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. — Nearly Headless Nick {C} 10:23, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. When the block expires you are free to continue editing if you intend to make useful contributions. However, if you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, this account will be subject to a longer block and action could be taken against the individual behind this IP address.
I am sorry but i have to block you. If you feel strongly about a reference to Washington Post is not a reason to vandalize an article. If you promise not to do it in the future but instead to edit cooperatively with the other editors, I will unblock you Alex Bakharev 10:29, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
