I assume you're refering to Image:Lp + pop.jpg, which (presumably) have re-uploaded. If you take a look at it you'll notice there is still a notice there saying that the image lacks copyright status. All images on Wikipedia must list a source (the image location on the band's official website would suffice) and a license. You can release the image for use on Wikipedia by following these directions:
Copyright owners who submitted their own work to Wikipedia: If you submitted work to Wikipedia which you had previously published (especially online), and your submission was marked as a potential infringement of copyright, stating that you are the copyright holder of the work on the article's talk page helps, but will not likely prevent deletion. It is sufficient to either:
- Make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions at wikimedia dot org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation.
I know this is confusing, but basically we need proof that you are who you say you are, and that the band really does give permission for us to use this image. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 16:56, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
