Please do not edit the user pages of other contributors without their approval or consent, as you did with User:The Crying Orc. It may be seen as vandalism. -- Gogo Dodo 21:45, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
It was indeed vandalism, as he was vandalising other pages without punishment.—Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
- Who do the Devil do you think you are editing my userpage and calling me a bastard? And leaving anonymous messages on my talk page calling for me to be blocked? Only a coward would slink around like that, not daring to sign their name to what they write. What I am doing is not vandalism but restoring balance. Leave me alone. This is your last warning. The Crying Orc 21:48, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
"The Crying Orc" isn't even a real name, I'm just too lazy to sign in if that's what you mean by "signing" my name. You also cannot warn me, as you clearly are not a moderator. What you are doing is vandalising a great source of information and you should be removed for this. If I went around submitting articles for Slayer or Cannibal Corpse for deletion, I'm fairly certain I would be removed, and recieve some rather nasty edits to my userpage.—Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
- You are right I am not a moderator but this does not mean that I can not complain about you vandalising my page and calling me a bastard or infering that I belong to some disgusting subculture. Moreover I dare you to nominate Slayer for deletion and you will be laughed from this encyclopedea becuase unlike some two bit christian band, Slayer and Cannibal Corpse meet wikipedia's rules for inclusion. The Crying Orc 21:59, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Sinai Beach does meet wikipedia's rules for inclusion, they have two CD releases by Victory Records, which is an indie label, but still meets the criteria."(Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable).)"
That also does not include the fact that you attempted to delete the entire Christian Metal article.—Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)
- I nominated the christian metal page before I knew that christian metal was an actual genre of metal, I had never heard of anything this ridiculous before. The Crying Orc 22:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- You do not realise how funny that is, exspecially considering you vandalised the page with comments about "metalheads" not considering Christian metal to be real metal, how would one know this without even knowing about Christian metal in the first place? Aside from that, I listen to non-Christian metal, yet I have moral values. Not only that, I know many a few non-Christians who dislike Christian metal and listen to non-Christian metal, yet they also have moral values.
You still do not defend your stand on the deletion of Sinai Beach's page, even after I offered proof that you were wrong. Also, state your meaning of "bandcruft", as I have never heard that phrase before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs) OK. Bandcruft is a wikipedia term that I picked up today: I figured it was appropriate to use it. "cruft" refers to the accumulation of articles on nonsense, and I consider Sinai Beach to not be appropriate material for an encyclopedia as is my right so I nominated it for deletion to see who else agrees. As for the first part of your comment, christianity is complete anathema to everything which metal means as an art form. Art transcends mere aesthetic form into the ideological, and christianity and metal are opposites. Hence oxymoron. The Crying Orc 22:47, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
You do realise, that Ozzy Osbourne, lead vocalist from Black Sabbath, which is credited as the "first" metal band, is Catholic? You do also realise, that Christianity can be violent, even having Death metal bands that infuse messages of salvation with horrific descriptions of violence?(Apparently what happens in hell, it seems) If you look at it that way, the only form of Metal that is entirely, truely, ideologically non-Christian compatable is Norwegian Satanic Black Metal. Please note there is Norwegian Christian Black Metal bands (Antestor), so the word "Satanic" must be in there to qualify.
