Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. Rsm99833 03:37, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Your recent edits could give other users the impression that you may consider legal or other 'off-wiki' action against them. Please note that this is strongly discouraged under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats are often blocked indefinitely until their legal case is withdrawn or resolved. Please try to keep a cool head and work positively with other editors. Thanks. yandman 15:46, 22 November 2006 (UTC) ((unblock-auto|1=68.193.53.233|2={anon block}|3=Can't sleep, clown will eat me))
To whom it may concern: I have received an error message that says I'm blocked from editing unless I have an account. I am also blocked from creating an account. Also, I can not email the administrator who blocked me because It says I need an account to email users. I have a feeling that someone using my same internet service had broken the rules of Wikipedia - it wasn't me. I may have made humorous edits to Wikipedia in the past, but for a while now I have been abiding by Wikipedia's rules and guidelines. I really don't even edit articles that often. I usually just leave suggestions in talk pages when I think an article could use improvement or if I see any factual errors. I would love to continue contributing to Wikipedia anonymously... though if this is not possible, can an account be created for me? My email is [removed] if that helps.
At the very least, could I see the edits in question that led to this block so I can figure out if it was something I did or whether it was someone else in my IP range (I am almost certain it isn't me I've been trying to make worthwhile contributions).
Edit: Ok I looked through my list of user contributions. I didnt find any specific block messages... but I did find a connection between me an the administrator who blocked my IP. Could this be over an edit I made to the Jim McMahon article? If so, I apologize - I genuinely believed "punky qb" to be his nickname. I didn't mean to add nonfactual material to the encyclopedia. If this is the case and I am responsible for the ban, please block my specific IP address instead of blocking the entire IP range. I wouldn't want my entire area to be blocked from editing wikipedia because of something I did.
- I've sent an email to the address mentioned (and also removed the email address, to hopefully avoid web crawlers). – Luna Santin (talk) 00:36, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
