[edit] Pre-1964 US ham licensing
Please do not destroy the current information about pre-1964 licensing. There were indeed six license classes, as a study of an ARRL Handbook or any of several QSTs from that era will show. Even though Advanced and Extra Class licenses gained the holder no extra privileges, they did indeed exist. -- Jay Maynard 04:10, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
