[edit] Your edits to Christa McAuliffe
I have reverted your additions to this article. The biography you stated was plagiarism was not plagiarism. Your alleged source was copied verbatim from her NASA biography (without citation). This was also the source for the material in the article, if you check the page history for 2004. The NASA biography is public domain and does not require citation.
Please do not add AfD tags to such well-established articles without very carefully checking your evidence. Further spurious additions of AfD tags would be considered Wikipedia:Vandalism. Your statements on the talk page might also be considered as a violation of Wikipedia:No legal threats. Michaelbusch 06:49, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cursing at People
User:Sandstein has been helpful to me in the past, so I feel the need to discuss something with you. Why call the guy/girl a deuchebag? People will actually listen to you if you don't call them names. It's a whole lot better to have a well-reasoned argument that convinces people to think differently. I get angry too, people do incredibly illogical things on Wikipedia and sometimes do them in a very smug way. But having a superior argument usually wins those battles and gains you respect rather than derision. Name-calling is not welcome. --Tractorkingsfan 01:23, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- For repeated personal attacks, against which you were warned on User talk:Jackhamm, you — i.e., your user account Mandelbug (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) and your IP address — are now blocked for a week. You are free to contribute constructively once the block expires. Trying to circumvent the block or continuing incivility will lead to prolonged blocks. Sandstein 05:40, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
