I noticed the message you recently left to a newcomer. Please remember to try not to bite the newcomers. If you see someone make a common mistake, try to politely point out what they did wrong and how to correct it. Thank you. DuncanHill 23:45, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Was that the homework question on the Reference desk? Yeah, that may have been a bit blunt with that one. I have a low tolerance for folks trying to get around their homework. :) -- 68.156.149.62 12:41, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Don't be selective
Hi, I noticed you left a warning. While this is fine, also pay attention to context, and rudeness from other users as well. Being selective shows bias which can lead to problems, especially since you are posting as an anon. 64.236.121.129 15:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- I was paying attention to the context. You read hostility into posts that were simply trying to be helpful, and attacked them for it. I also find it ironic that you are chastising me for being an anon, while you post anonymously yourself. I'm quite familiar with Wikipedia's policies, thank you. -- 68.156.149.62 17:20, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
