I have had personal interaction with Ted in Sacramento, CA. he spent his money on paying rent for one year in his two bedroom apt a car and women/drugs/alochol. He got a two bedroom SO he would have a room for his sister to hang-out and drink with him. he bought prostitutes (how do I know, i was one of them). He did drugs and alochol, was very co-dependent and tried to buy his companions and people around him in an attempt to feel "good enough". How could this documentary waste such money? What were they thinking? in defense of Ted, he did not know any better, he has not done any worse than many people out there who have secure money and lose it. He had no idea what this money meant and could do except for a good time at someone else's expense. DUH - if reversal of fortune is gonna spend money on a real documentary and let the world know that it is possible, choose someone (like me) who is doing the emotional work to turn their lives around and implement change. Money cannot buy us freedom of self, but it sure helps when your trying to get there, if you do the essential personal work on our own demons first and have the courage to do what it takes to make change. Anyone could have proven what this documentary did, if they want to prove reversal of fortune they should research their prospects better. I have compassion for Ted, he was a victim and victimized by this documentary. He also had a part in the whole senero, he refused to be open-minded and want to grow.
