[edit] Lame No Free Image project

Any thoughts as to how we can go about squashing this retarded project? --AStanhope (talk) 04:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes - it would be far more professional if we didn't have a picture at all. The picture is ugly and pointless. Some editors here don't "get" that tens of millions of normal people - non-editors - are the real Wikipedia consumers. "NO FREE IMAGE - CLICK HERE IF YOU OWN ONE" is MEANINGLESS to 99% of the people who use Wikipedia. Even if someone were to click on it it would still be meaningless. I don't think anybody can point to an instance where the presence of the retarded graphic has resulted in a user properly adding a non-copywritten image to an article. I hate it! --AStanhope (talk) 05:03, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
