If you really want to contribute to the article, you can create a Wikipedia account and go on editing on it. The volume of vandalism makes unprotecting it a bad idea, but we're happy to have you join WP, set up an account, and go back to editing the article once your account's a couple of days old.
In the meantime, you can make any comments you want on the article talk page and note issues with the article as-is.
