Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I remind you of Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy for editors, which you appear to have violated at Richard Barrett (lawyer). You must not add negative statements to a biography without sourcing them. Thank you. Veinor (talk to me) 18:04, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your vandalism to Neofolk
Please stop. If you continue to vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Neofolk, you will be blocked. WeniWidiWiki 18:49, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Jkelly 19:38, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Walha
please stop adding your "al-" etymoloy for walha. It's nonsense. There is no way Germanic walh- could derive from PIE al-. If you want to mention something as unlikely as that, you'll certainly need a solid reference. See WP:NOR. dab (𒁳) 22:26, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
More nonsensical and unlikely than deriving it from "Volcae"? did you come up with that? do you approve of such a romantic, I dare say nationalistic, derivation?
References aren't needed on Wikipedia. At least that's the sense I get from allowing someone to propose, on every single article wherein walh- occurs, that it derives from Volcae, each time without any reference. Of course, crusading anti-nationalist types like yourself thrive on such double-standards (and this is not to enlist myself in the nationalist ranks, only to point out a mentality) and there is no point at all in civilized discussion with you. You're also Swiss, which is to say a particularly stuck-up breed of German, which means deeply convinced of your superiority in everything, but too socialized to admit it.
So hey, change it back to Volcae. Let the little germanists have their fun. You might also lobby for the derivation of gringo from "Green, go!", a similarly stupid folk etymology.
One final word: you Wiki people are creepy as hell.
