[edit] Editing Wikipedia

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! — Chris53516 (Talk) 17:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. — Chris53516 (Talk) 17:55, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Herpes zoster

I want to thank you for this edit. I've been editing this article trying to prevent bullshit from entering it, and I missed the edit that added complementary therapies back in (I watch over 2000 articles, so it's hard to see everything that happens). Thanks for the work. By the way, you seem like a good editor for these types of articles. Please register yourself and join in. We could use the help. Perhaps you could identify your username here as it seems you often forget to use it? Now just exactly what in the Text of the above Article piece you deleted is not supported by the References used? Jagra (talk) 07:12, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
