[edit] Survivor: Panama
Hi. Instead of modifying the external links and removing notices, please discuss the changes you'd like to make on the talk page. Thanks! Jtrost 14:56, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
I have stated my reasons...you've just ignored them. Stop removing other survivor sites links. If other survivor sites external links were and are used on Wiki: Survivor Guatemela then they should also be allowed for Wiki: Survivor Panama page. Your reasoning for is contradictory to what was allowed last season. All the sites that are listed on Survivor Guatemala's page and relevant to Survivor Panama should also be listed. Not just Survivor Fever.
- Again, please discuss the changes you would like to make on the talk page instead of making the changes. Jtrost 21:41, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Again, I have. Read the last entires in the Protected heading. Who is your superior? I'd to get them involved you are a one way street.
- RE your comment in the page history Adam don't remove external links previously approved. how exactly were these links "previously approved"? we have discussed as a community what links are and are not appropriate to include in the external links section of the Survivor articles, as far as I can see ( I did not look extensively) you haven't really participated in these discussions. The community as a whole has in fact come to a concensus on this issue, we agreed to adhere to the rules of both WP:NOT and WP:EL and really, due to the nature of survivor and the fact that it's a "fast moving" target and sometimes we don't always update the articles as much or as quickly as we should we even extended the policies of WP:EL a little bit more than would be on a normal WP article. Just because you disagree with the concensus there is a specific policy to follow (Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution) and it begins with participating actively in the discussion on the talk page. If you don't follow that first step noone is going to take any future steps you take seriously. Besides, for all you know, if you go onto the talk page and make your case in a serious way with at least a modeate amount of eloquence you might convince us. But first, read WP:EL and decide if the link you want to include meets those criteria and using that as a basis make a case on the talk page. Simply reverting will not garner any respect for your case. AdamJacobMuller 23:40, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
