Hi, what's the point of creating both regular lists and alphabetical lists of rivers? It's all the same information, you can list them alphabetically separately on the regular list of rivers pages, if you think it is necessary. Adam Bishop 20:18, 20 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Of course its necessary, only Nunavut and Quebec lists it separately in alphabetical order. To find the rest of those articles, they are on the same page (e.g. or x-ample, List of Ontario rivers]] they're listed at the bottom.

One reason, Quebec is the largest province, and Nunavut is about 2.5 million square kilometers.]]

I am just a kid!

Alright, but what I mean is, it's probably not necessary to create a separate article for the alphabetical lists. Adam Bishop 18:28, 21 Sep 2003 (UTC)

If you want to create a list of names, this should only be done at Wiktionary, as you have already started to do. http://wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary_Appendix:First_names. Please do not try to duplicate that here as the information is not encyclopedic. Thanks. Angela 23:41, Oct 18, 2003 (UTC)

And another tip: i think Greek names of states and other related pages are a valuable contribution to the Greek wikipeia, not the english ones. I posted these pages Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/foreign language. If you have any question, please ask in my talk page. Cheers, Muriel Gottrop 21:29, 31 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Anyone knows the Greek alphabet out there?

Hi. I see you've added links to more national leagues on Football (soccer). Is there any particular reason why you call them "... soccer league" rather than "... football league"? Fifa.com gives the name of most of the controlling associations as "Football" e.g. Asociación del Fútbol Argentino, Football Federation of Ukraine, etc.

The only places where I think "soccer" would be correct are South Africa, where the league is the "Premier Soccer League", and of course the US is different from everywhere else! The other variable is whether to capitalise "Football League" as it's part of the name of the English organisation, but isn't in the Welsh case (it's the League of Wales or Cynghrair Cymru), for example. It's probably too late to make hard-and-fast rules for this now, though. Cheers, Arwel 15:20, 26 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Hi. Anniversaries are not events -- please don't add them to year pages. -- Tarquin 18:40, 1 Jan 2004 (UTC)

You log into your account, silly. --Jiang 01:48, 17 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I will. Pumpie 16:37, Jan 17 2004 (UTC)

While your interest in HM's ships is admirable, for most of the stubs you're creating it is inaccurate to say a ship, since most of the names have been used for multiple ships. It would be better not to create the stubs unless you can accurately say whether the name has been used for one or several ships. Stan 18:43, 25 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Concur. The history of HM Ship and Station names is a very esoteric speciality. It is very easy to make mistakes, and you are making many of them. Paul, in Saudi

Please also add {{msg:stub}} on your very short pages. --Kaihsu 23:17, 2004 Feb 10 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your information on various Royal Navy ships. You might be interested in the site http://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/236.html which gives details of all RN ships of the WW2 period. From this site you can usually find out quite a lot more about the ships you are mentioning and expand the articles. Good luck. DJ Clayworth 16:45, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Hi again. Thanks for making articles about ships, but can I suggest that instead of just putting down the fact that they are a ship, you use the web to find out what kind of ship they are. For example HMS Lysander was a minesweeper in WWII, but was a destroyer in the pre-war years. All of that is really easy to find by browsing the web, and is much more valuable. DJ Clayworth 22:40, 3 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hello Pumpie! Why are you creating pages without stub notices and filled with headers with no content? Its a great work, but please, follow the stub policies. Thanks, Muriel 15:37, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Please don't create empty sections in articles (or comment them out), and also add the {{msg:stub}} message to those small articles. Dori | Talk 17:33, Mar 22, 2004 (UTC)
