'This is a public IP adress of my road runner cable modem. I have it hooked up to an unprotected wireless network. I live in an apartment complex. I know that some vandalism comes from this IP adress(probably from my neighbors), but I do legitimate contributions here. Could you please not block this IP? If the vandalism continues, I could possibly encrypt the network.--67.49.215.174 04:50, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Spybot worm. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. RobthTalk 03:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Replacing links with malicious links is pretty serious; some admins would probably block that on first offense. You should either protect your wireless network (at the very least, MAC filtering), or create an account to avoid getting block (and just as importantantly to prevent others from using your net connection to cause trouble). This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
