- One thing I forgot to mention: You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (67.180.89.177) is used to identify you instead. [edit] Email Spam
Thank you for replacing the @ symbols on Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks/Abc and elsewhere with " AT " to deter spammers. Firstly, would it be even better to use the graphic in the template emailwebsite.com (written as {{NonSpamEmail|email|website.com}} at WP)? Secondly, I notice that the editor also changed non-Roman fonts to Roman near-equivalents or ? symbols in several places. One example: open http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Mirrors_and_forks/Vwxyz&curid=1191142&diff=207995789&oldid=205342834 and search for "?:????" without quotes.
I will be away from my computer next week, so please excuse me if you reply and I am slow to respond. Certes (talk) 09:56, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
- The non-roman characters should be restored now. Sorry about that. 67.180.89.177 (talk) 01:20, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
