User talk:67.165.4.169
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Can you please stop re-adding them. Consensus wants them left out. Havok (T/C/c) 18:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- You wanting the links left out does not mean the majority of the users want the links left out. They don't harm you nor the article. If anything it adds more updates and keeps those who want to be informed. Since, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, the fan websites help keep extra pages of unneeded information out of the Wiki article by adding a link at the very bottom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.165.4.169 (talk • contribs)
News Flash, IGN and Gamespot don't care about the game. They have what, two articles on there? People want to see screenshots and read rumors, which aren't allowed on Wiki. My site gets between 300-400 unique visitors a day, and the forums only have 49 members because I opened them a few days ago.

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. [edit] When your block expires
We must ask that you do not add this link again. Please read WP:EL#Links_normally_to_be_avoided: message boards rife with speculation violate points #1 and #2 and are expressly prohibited under point #9 (there's also the issue of the Google ads [point #4]). If you wish to add content rather than links, you are invited to do so, provided you cite a reliable source for the data. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 13:28, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
