[edit] Re: Editing Article
Hi, You may never see this message, but I'll explain to you what happened. There are 2 types of user of Wikipedia: those who have and account and those who haven't. We use the IP of the latter as a way to differentiate and contact them. That's what happened: someone with the same IP address than you repeatedly vandalized Wikipedia a few days ago and was banned for a short period. That might either be someone else on your computer or even just an other customer of your Internet Service Provider. Don't worry, the ban was only active for a short period of time and being banned only prevent you from editing the articles. You still can browse Wikipedia during that time. I hope these explanations were useful! -- lucasbfr talk 17:35, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
